Sentebale Director Slams Prince Harry with Harassment Allegations

Prince Harry is facing serious accusations of bullying and defamation from a former employee at his charity, Sentebale, stirring up a storm of controversy. The Duke of Sussex, who recently stepped away from the organization due to a fractured relationship, has been called out by the charity’s chairwoman for what she describes as a pattern of troubling behavior.

In a scathing interview with Sky News, the Zimbabwean lawyer and Sentebale chairwoman, Dr. Chandauka, didn’t hold back. She accused Prince Harry of “poor governance, weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny, and misogynoir.” Her allegations paint a grim picture of the internal dynamics at Sentebale, the charity Harry co-founded in 2006 to support vulnerable children in Lesotho and Botswana.

Dr. Chandauka detailed a specific incident that she says crossed a line. “At some point on Tuesday, Prince Harry authorized the release of a damaging piece of news to the outside world, without informing me, or my country directors, or my executive director,” she revealed. “And can you imagine what that attack has done for me, and the 540 individuals in the Sentebale organization and their families?” She went on to call the move a clear example of “harassment and bullying at scale,” adding, “If the world didn’t want to believe that there’s such a thing as bullying—this unleashing of the Sussex machine on me and the 540 employees at Sentebale who receive this and have had to defend it…”

Sky News reporter Trevor Phillips pressed her for clarity, asking, “When you say Sussex machine, what are you talking about?” Dr. Chandauka explained, “The PR machine that supports Prince Harry’s efforts. The only way we discovered his decision was through the Sussex machine activating newspapers.” Her comments suggest a calculated effort by Harry’s team to control the narrative, leaving the charity’s leadership blindsided and vulnerable.
