Episode 4 is done, and with every episode, I feel like I’m losing a part of my soul. This time, Meghan Markle decided to bless us with her five-word Spanish vocabulary, mistreat her dog (more on that later), and showcase her “relatable” rich-people hobbies. Let’s dive into the highlights of this trainwreck.
The episode kicks off with Meghan making something called “sun tea.” Apparently, this is what rich people do when they have hours to spare. You’re supposed to gather a bunch of individual tea ingredients—which, let’s be real, most of us normal people don’t have lying around—and let them steep in a jar of water under the sun for hours.
Where does she find the time to leave tea out in the sun for hours? It doesn’t add up. When asked if she made tea as a child, she claims, “I made it as a kid, and now I’m making it with my own kids.” Uh, sure, Meghan. A three-year-old and a five-year-old are totally drinking sun tea. Another lie to add to the list.
The director, Michael, asks if she used hibiscus and dried lemon as a kid. Of course, she responds with a laugh that makes her teeth look like Roger Klotz from Doug (if you know, you know). She claims she used to take a tea bag from the drawer and put it in a mason jar. A child knows what a mason jar is? Okay, Meghan. Sure.
Remember when Harry said he would never go on hikes with Meghan? Well, that lie is now busted. In this episode, we see footage of Harry roaring and scaring Meghan while hiking with their family. So much for never spending time outdoors with his wife and kids.
Next up, Meghan decides to make dog biscuits. Why? Who knows. The recipe is as basic as it gets: peanut butter, flour, eggs, and salt. Finally, she actually gives measurements—three cups of flour, 300°F for 25 minutes—which is a miracle considering she usually leaves out all the details.
But here’s the kicker: she’s essentially making what she plans to sell. So, she’s giving away her “secret” recipe on a Netflix show. Brilliant business strategy, Meghan.
