Rejection by Greg Reveals Meghan Markle's Invictus Plan: Missing $600K Dress Order and Alleged $540K Refund Dispute Uncovered

Meghan, aged 42, is set to host the live Story scene segment during the closing ceremony of an event. Reports have surfaced, shedding light on some of Meghan's specific demands for this occasion. Among her requests is a staggering six-hundred-thousand-dollar dress, meticulously planned attire, down to her heels, and even a carefully curated selection of snacks.

Additionally, Meghan has outlined her preferences for the ambient air temperature and has specific expectations regarding linens and decor for the hotel. Notably, she has stipulated the need for chauffeur-driven limos for her transportation.

These reports have gained attention, particularly as it was disclosed that Invictus decided to remove Meghan from the show due to what were deemed as exorbitant and unreasonable demands. It has been stated that Meghan requested Invictus to provide her with a six-hundred-thousand-dollar dress for her appearance at the closing ceremony in Germany. However, Netflix CEO Greg Peters refused this request, citing a reluctance to allocate funds towards what he considered frivolous expenditures. The dress Meghan desired to wear is none other than Princess Diana's iconic velvet gown. Previous auctions of Princess Diana's gowns have fetched prices significantly exceeding initial estimates.

This situation has raised questions about the allocation of funds, especially given that the Invictus event primarily aims to support veterans. Notably, during a previous Invictus event in 2022, a considerable sum of five hundred and thirty-eight thousand dollars was expended on a fashion show, a figure that some have found disconcerting, given its diversion from the event's intended purpose.

Furthermore, there have been inquiries into the expenses incurred by the Sussexes for their attendance at Invictus events. Reports have circulated that funds from the British government office, which typically supports British charities, may have been utilized by the couple. Allegedly, the office has severed ties with them in light of these concerns.

According to Insider reports, Netflix CEO Greg Peters convened a meeting to request a refund from Meghan for the funds allocated to the project, following complaints from veterans. Oversight committees within the UK government have been involved in organizing events for veterans associated with Invictus. After the previous Invictus event transitioned into a fashion show, and in light of the substantial expenditure on Meghan, questions arose regarding the allocation of funds and the disclosure of her clothing expenses.

One aspect that has drawn criticism is Meghan's ostentatious fashion choices during her Invictus appearances. Many veterans who attended the event struggled to secure funds for their participation and do not receive the benefits to which they are entitled. Some live on meager monthly allowances, often less than $800. Meghan's conspicuous display of wealth, including a $35,000 necklace, $10,000 outfits, and a pair of earrings reportedly valued at $440,000, has stirred controversy.

Additionally, there have been instances where Prince Harry appeared to snub real veterans seeking photographs with him, leading some to question the coverage Netflix received during the event, which seemed to focus primarily on Meghan's involvement. These developments have prompted criticism and raised questions about Meghan's role and the allocation of resources within the Invictus event.
